Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds (James 1:2)
Joy is not the first thing that comes to mind when we face trials of any kind, yet what a great reminder that as carriers of hope, we are given opportunities to live out the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, and that those trials produce perseverance, and perseverance leads us into maturity.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world (James 1:27)

Let’s be proactive in bringing hope in practical ways to our community.
